Our mission is to enable all children to receive a great education and empower today’s youth to become tomorrow’s professionals rather than live on the streets or work as dogs inhumanely.

Many believe that slavery was a problem of the past. In reality, human trafficking is the fastest growing form of international crime of this day and age. A silent business, human trafficking is happening in our backyards. Even though the victims don’t speak our language and they live in poverty, we must understand that they have dreams and aspirations, just like us. They did not choose the circumstances that befall. There are 27,000,000 slaves in the world, half are youth under 18 and 80% are women. Traffickers make more than Starbucks, Google, and Nike combined. The lifespan of a female sex slave ends at 15 years, due to the physical and emotional distress. These slaves are forced to see up to 40 men a day in brothels. Youth are robbed of their lives and freedom. We must have compassion for those who are tainted by their surroundings. Poverty is a huge contribution to trafficking. Parents have no choice but to sell their kids. A couple in Algeria sold their children to traffickers to buy a color television. It’s ridiculous, but the most we can do is to help the victims. Some traffickers claim that this trade is good for the economy. The fact is, allowing slavery will slow down the process for a country to develop and industrialize. Slavery is not a common subject in the media so it is our mission to educate others. I am an avid believer that dedicating time to directly work on a project is a lot better than sending money. We want to teach them how to create their lives. We don’t want to keep on giving. “Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime.” Some of my most important values are independence and freedom. I can't imagine a life without being able to do what I love and a place where I am applauded for who I am.

The mission is to fly all the way to Vietnam and help the misfortunate people of that country. My parents and grandparents often told stories of the crippled, homeless, and parentless people of Vietnam. My youth group leaders implemented this project years ago, and I'm just a new member who's willing to be a part of the upcoming mission trip.

Henry Sibley SADD is working to promote safe-driving efforts. The "Driving It Home —pay attention:drive safe" initiative is documented on henrysibleysadd.blogspot.com, which highlights our efforts to reduce the epidemic of teen traffic deaths through PSAs and posters, assemblies, speakers, a mock car crash, and community outreach. By focusing on alert driving, we address those who actively and passively make poor driving decisions.

The mission of my project is to let girls know that you are free to be yourself. You do not need to change yourself in order to fit other ideals. What has inspired me to envision this and implement it is watching girls at my school intentionally starving themselves in order to make themselves "look better."

My mission is to help raise money for the Oklahoma School For The Blind to purchase new textbooks. They currently need $700,000 to get the materials. They're oldest book is from 1982 and the newest is from 2001.

The mission of this project is to bring up younger girls' self-esteem and hopefully lower the amount of masochism and self destruction. The thing that inspired me to start this group is the fact that when I was younger I really struggled with low self esteem and cutting. I want to save other girls from this pain.

The mission of this project is to help girls and young women who have been exposed to human trafficking to reach their full potential as human beings. I would also like to motivate youth to create projects that will combat human trafficking and slavery.

Simple, the mission is to grow. Grow as a person, grow as a woman, and grow as a member of the world community.
